A compact guide for use in the OR.
I organized VitaSmart's technical instructions into a scannable publication, preserving terminology, sequence, warnings, and clinical detail.
Design challenge
Organizing the workflow through color.
I grouped content by phase of use and color coded the sheet to distinguish instructions, alerts, and notes for quick reference.
Action-first visual language
Making each action easy to locate.
Screenshots, close-up photos, arrows, and callouts connect instructions to the device. Consistent numbering and note bands guide readers from setup through alarm resolution.
Final production system
Built for print, digital, and translation.
A shared layout supports print and digital editions across languages.
Warnings, operating ranges, and interface labels sit within a clear reading hierarchy.
Compact layouts retain legible text and imagery in print and on screen.
Repeated layouts and visual cues support language adaptations.
