Furniture rental / website UI & UX

FormDecor Website

Helping event planners move from inspiration to furniture selection and rental inquiries.

The brief

A visual catalog.
A practical planning tool.

I designed browsing paths that connect FormDecor's event imagery with its furniture inventory, product details, and quote requests.

My role
Website UI/UX designer
Audience
Event planners and production teams
Process
Adobe XD wireframes and iterative mockups
Scope
Homepage, catalog, product and inspiration pages

The finished interface

Inspiration with a path forward.

Large event photography sets the scene. Navigation connects that inspiration to products, style decks, and rental planning.

Finished homepage / desktop interface

Content modules / detail
Detail from the original wireframe showing four category placeholders, two collection callouts, and the about section
Original Adobe XD wireframe, presented in a recreated workspace.

Digital wireframes

Plan the structure before the styling.

I mapped the homepage in Adobe XD, defining space for the hero, categories, collections, company story, and new inventory.

Orient
Introduce the offering with a prominent hero and navigation.
Explore
Separate category browsing from curated collections.
Continue
Connect the catalog with company information and new products.

Early explorations

Two directions.
Many refinements.

I developed multiple iterations before the finished site. These two early mockups explore different hero treatments, accent colors, and ways to connect inspiration with inventory.

First original FormDecor concept with a wedding-image collage, orange accents, four furniture categories, and home staging and 3D model callouts
Event-led directionA wedding-image collage and warm accents introduce the experience before the furniture categories.
Second original FormDecor concept with the Aurora Sofa as the hero, teal buttons, four furniture categories, and reordered collection callouts
Product-led directionA single sofa takes the lead, with teal buttons and reordered callouts giving the catalog a different emphasis.

Early homepage excerpts from my original XD exports, before later revisions.

The browsing experience

From a category to a confident selection.

Visual categories narrow the inventory. Product pages bring photography, dimensions, finishes, and quantities together beside a clear quote action.

Finished chair category interface with every category image and label fully visible
Browse by furniture typeRecognizable product imagery helps planners find a relevant category.
Finished 710 Lounge Chair product page showing multiple photos, dimensions, availability, finishes, quantity controls, and the Add to Quote button
